ZaraStudio
ZaraStudio is a powerful software to automate audio playback. Although it has been designed with radio stations in mind, its features make it useful also for shops, supermarkets, malls or bars.
These are some remarkable ZaraStudio features:
- Fade and overlap between songs, based on the audio level or in a fixed time specified by the user.
- Support for WAV, MP3 (CBR y VBR), OGG and WMA files. Version 2 also supports FLAC and MP2.
- It supports up to six sound cards simultaneously, one for each player and a last one for prelistening audios.
- Complete event system, which allows you to prepare your programming during weeks or even months.
- Jingles and sounds palette with instant access. It allows you to have direct access to 90 sounds (9 x 10 pages).
- DTMF tone detector, that works without special hardware.
- Remote control through the parallel port.
- Log file generation that contain all the broadcasted files, as well as the incidences.
- Automatic Gain Control (AGC), that levels the volume of the songs without processing them previously.
- Random music styles, through the random track and events features.
- Translate the program to your language.
- Drag & Drop between all the playlists, as well as from Windows Explorer.
Intuitive user interface
ZaraStudio has a friendly user interface, with the layout of a typical Windows application, which turns it into a friendly and intuitive tool. Any user who has handled previously other office applications will feel comfortable with ZaraStudio, since he will find the typical copy, paste, undo, redo,... features.
Besides, we tried to give it a modern look, supporting XP and Vista themes and showing colourful 32 bits icons (only in XP and Vista).
You can also customize the program with your station name, which is displayed next to ZaraStudio's logo.
Fast and light
Unlike other programs, ZaraStudio won't eat your hard disk space. Besides, it saves resources and works in old computers.
On the other hand, ZaraStudio does not rely on servers or databases. That is why its installation is fast and really simple. That turns ZaraStudio into a virtually zero maintenance system.
Besides, ZaraStudio does not copy any DLL to your Windows folder. It only copies a small parallel driver in version 2.
It doesn't rely on the .NET framework, nor the Java virtual machine, nor the Visual Basic runtime. It is a native application, which makes it efficient and light.
Network support
You will be able to work in a network with ZaraStudio, as Windows applications do, by using the file sharing Windows feature.
Events module
The events module allows you to program your station for the next days, though its versality even allows you to plan your programming months ahead.
You can change automatically the events list, play files, launch applications or event show messages to the operator.
